In yesterday’s blog I wrote about my experience with the economical Aukey Bluetooth earbuds, and how they compare to the expensive Jaybird X2 Bluetooth earbuds, which sell for about 10 times the price of the Aukeys.
Because so many athletes who train with music read this blog, I was not surprised that there was quite a bit of feedback. Some people reported that they had similar experiences with the overpriced and unreliable Jaybird earbuds (I’ve been through 5 pair in less than a year), and several folks said they were also happy owners of the low-priced Aukey earbuds. The current price on the Aukey earbuds is so ridiculously low (as of this writing still just $13.99 on Amazon) that a whole bunch of people picked up a pair or three yesterday.
Even though my original pair of Aukey earbuds are still performing perfectly, yesterday morning I decided to pick up a couple more pair at the super low sale price. Thanks to Amazon Prime’s FREE same day delivery, they showed up yesterday afternoon. 🙂
As you can see in the picture, I also bought some more Sport-Wash, which is what I use to wash all my tech fabric clothing (you should never use products like Tide on tech fabric clothing, such as cycling kits). I used to use Penguin Sport Wash, which is truly outstanding, but a few months ago I gave Atsko Sport-Wash a try and found it to be every bit as good as Penguin, but at a lower price (64 ounces for under 20 bucks). If you’re using Penguin, go ahead and save yourself a few bucks and try Atsko. You’ll be happy with it.
I’m an admitted Amazon-a-holic. I love the company, the customer service, the huge selection and the prices. A Prime membership is a no-brainer for me, especially now that free same-day shipping is available in my area. I’m also fairly invested in the Amazon ecosystem. We have the awesome Amazon Echo (I’m going to do a review on that soon), a Kindle and a couple of Firesticks. I use free Prime music and video streaming daily on the Echo and the Firesticks.
If you don’t already have a Prime membership, you can sign up for a FREE 30-day Amazon Prime membership here. No strings attached. Amazon actually has a number of very cool 30-day free trial programs running, you can check them all out here.
